About us

Our Vision
and Mission

We believe that every orphaned child, the vulnerable child and every young mother deserves access to the basic essentials of life, to enable them to live with dignity. This means to be sheltered and well cared for, ultimately being reintegrated with their families. We believe that Ugandans are the best solution to meet this challenge. Our role is to empower them to believe in themselves and we do this through community action in practical ways, reaching out to street children, to those who are critically abused in the poorest communities. We take action to demonstrate the Love of God to everyone, regardless of their faith, tribe or gender. We provide a place where lives are healed, transformed and restored, reuniting families by

God’s grace and mercy.

What’s next?

Our Goal

The programs initiated by Life Healing Rehabilitation Center will focus on:

Access to basic essentials of life for orphans and vulnerable children.

Provision of emergency shelter for the lost and abandoned children in the communities of Mbale city and other communities, ensuring that such children are re-integrated with their families in accordance with the MGLSD standard operating procedures.

Education and health care for vulnerable and disadvantaged street children.

Education for the local communities on sustainable living and assistance with implementation of such projects.

Protection for all members of the community against HIV/AIDS and mitigation of the consequences of this disease by providing information, education and care.

Demonstration of the Love of God to those in need through practical actions.
